Silk Fusion allows me to combine the arts of wool felting
and papermaking, to paint both flat and 3-dimensional works
of Osilk paper art in vibrant and intense colours that I
use in my wall hangings, clothing and masks. Wool rovings,
used in both felting and more non-traditional methods, allow
me to introduce texture and depth to my work. I also incorporate
Tyvek (yes, a building material!) into my work with silk and
wool, in order to create additional texture.
