Lord of the Rings Quilt

Using favourite images from this popular movie provided the base for a richly textured and vibrantly coloured homage.

Materials Used:
This piece was technically challenging as it incorporates photo-transfers onto fabric, which were then ‘framed with lurex, and surrounded with gold-shot sateen. Clay decorative elements were then added for texture and contrast.
